| Really enjoyed the State Fair today. First time I've ever studied the canning entrants. I was blown away by how beautiful, colorful and clear some of the jelly was. Just gorgeous. Works of art.
I also enjoyed the other canning categories. Some people are so talented but of course I know they worked very hard to make these entries. |

| One of these years I really have to enter some stuff. I wish the schedules were different, though. The County Fair is the week before the State Fair and they're both in July. By July, we've usually eaten everything, plus I just can't bring myself to enter almost-one-year-old food. But I guess all the folks that enter tomato products do, since tomatoes are never ripe here in mid-July. Sounds like a fun day! |
