| I have read of infusing oil with herbs...
Here's the recipe....... Mix 50/50 vegetable oil and olive oil..the mix is needed to keep the olive oil from thickening in the refer.... Bring the oil to 180 deg F on the stove top... Add Crushed Rosemary, Crushed Garlic, Crushed Black Pepper to the oil and simmer at 180 for 10 minutes.... Transfer all ingredients to a glass container, when cool, and store in the refer for later use... Does anyone see a problem using this recipe ??
What, if anything else should be done to insure a safe edible oil ?? |
