| I am finally going to have time to make dilly beans for the first time tonite. I am confused about what equals 1 dill head. Is the big flower 1 dill head, or is the big flower a bunch of dill heads? I searched here and googled it, and got differing answers. Some of the flowers on my dill are quite big, I'm wondering if I am supposed to use the entire flower for 1 jar? |

| I know what you mean, some flowers are the size of a rose bud and others are the size of a mum. I choose about a golf ball size or maybe a little bigger and if the head is bigger than that, I divide it. |
