OK to add booze to roasted peach salsa?

Like bourbon, maybe? Or rum?

I am guessing it can only add to the preservedness, but since I was here figured I should ask :).

Thanks, folks :).

I DO have tequila! And the SWD are winding down for the season, so they might not need it (though I did put out a little jar for them, next to the peaches I have ripening on the counter. I told them, 'Party it up!')

I have some rum, too.

The house smells marvelous from the roasting peaches :).
