I just had to share -- I got a blue ribbon for my dill pickle relish this year at our county fair! I also scored two second place ribbons; one for my Apple Cinnamon Cranberry Jelly and one for my Raspberry Jam.

When I picked up my prize money and ribbons the lady told me that I had a pretty good showing for a first-timer (this was the first time I entered anything into the fair) since there was a lot of competition.

I have to say thanks to lots of you -- Dave, Linda, Carol especially -- because I read a lot on here even before I started canning anything a few years ago. I feel like you've been my teachers of sorts.

I am already canning for next year's fair! :)
