Noooooooo! (running screaming from the room)

LOL, Annie just posted about how tired she is of answering questions.

I consider it mild if you use the 3-5 jalapenos without seeds. Medium if you use seeds. DH is from TX and considers it totally without heat, but still yummy. I'm trying to figure out how to make it hot enough for him.

Ask 100 people and you'll get 100 different answers. But if you like Thai food you'll have to change jalapenos to something else, or add ground cayenne or hot pepper flakes or something. Annie says her DH likes all habaneros, but then again he eats habaneros right out of the garden.

Is Annie's salsa considered mild, medium or hot?

The amount of heat will all depend on the type and the amount of hot peppers you use in the recipe. You can make it as hot or as mild as you wish.

We've read for a couple of hrs. about this recipe and will be making it for the first time, just didn't want it to hot for some in the family. Second batch I'll know how to adjust for heat. Thanks again.

chartim, my version as posted is mild. If you like it hotter, add more hot peppers and fewer sweet peppers.

I'm not necessarily tired of answering questions about that recipe, just tired of being asked how it can be changed and still be safe, because that's been beaten to death...
