| i would say no, if the plant has been totally frosted. If just the tips of the plants, iffy, but would still say no. Sorry, you were just too late. We lost all of ours 2 nights ago, got to 26F. |

| I would not either. The frost has damaged the tomatoes and even if there are no safety issues you are expending a lot of effort on what's likely to be an inferior product. Late season tomatoes have less exposure to sun and are generally less acid and less flavorful (even have off flavors) without even taking into consideration the frost issue. Carol |

| Even covering with cotton sheets could have saved them if it didn't blacken the plant. Live and learn. Now is the time to look forward to next year and start saving recipes. |
