How do you Store your Rings?

How do you store your rings? I seem to have gads of them, and they don't stack nicely. In the past, I've stuffed them into ziplocs and tossed them in the basement, but this takes up a lot of space and seems very disorganized. I have so many that I end up with bags and bags, and then the bags split or get dirty or get lost. I use my excess jars for umpteen other things, and use the plastic lids a lot, so can't store rings with the jars.

Looking for creative, space-saving, organized ways to keep the rings until next season. How do you store yours? Help...

One Sterilite plastic "under-the-bed" storage box holds hundreds of them. One 18 gal Rubbermaid tote holds a thousand. Keeps them clean and dry and rust free.

my aunt used to use the clothes hangers that opened, I use a T-shirt bag and tied it shut.

i cut the bottom of a wire hanger in the middle, pull open and bend U-shaped hooks on the ends. fill both sides with rings and hang in the basement from nails on the joists above.

At a recent fall lunch outing, the tables were decorated with canning ring pumpkins similar to this one. Might be a way to "store" and display any extras you don't plan to use for awhile.

Here is a link that might be useful: Pumpkin centerpiece

Ha! Hide them in plain sight - I love it! Would look esp. good in the old gold color (though I suppose that depends on your decor). You really do need the leaf though to make it work.

Looks like each pumpkin uses about 20 rings?
