Is this sealed?

About a month ago I canned some dried garbanzo beans. One of the jars didn't seak so I put it in the refrigerator, but never got around to using. I pulled it out yesterday and it appeared to be perfect. The dimple in the lid was down and when I held it by the lid and shook it vigorously (over the sink) it remained tightly sealed. The contents appear to be quite normal. Use it or toss it? Perhaps I gave up on the seal too early? It was still warm when I put it in the fridge, but I can't remember how long it had been out of the canner.

Since it is so old, toss it. A lid may seal and release, seal and release under those conditions and that allows air and contaminants into the jar. When it reseals it now has the perfect environment for those anaerobic bacteria to grow and turn toxic.

If it was only 24-48 hours old I say just boil the contents well before consuming but at over a month you have no way of knowing what has been going on inside that jar of low-acid beans.
