Beans hit by frost

Hi - we were hit with a killing frost the other night, so we quickly gathered what we could.

Our black beans (cherokee trail of tears) had a ton of big healthy bean pods, that hadn't gotten to drying stage.

I hope this isn't as dumb a question as I think it is, but I normally use these dried.

Can I still dry the beans I picked (in a deyhdrator or leaving them laid out on a table)? And if not, do I just use them in recipes like I would with dried beans (without the soaking of course)

Thanks so much - I had planted some of my beans a little late - good lesson for next year!
