| Have you ever noticed that when you take the lids off of brand new jars to wash them they smell awful? I never noticed it before this year, but I had not bought new jars for years. It does wash away easily. |

| The air in the jars is what it smells like at the manufacturing plant. Best to open them outdoors and then bring them in to wash. Nancy |
