Food mill recommendations

I would love to find a food mill or gadget that would allow me to prep lots of tomatoes for salsa and sauce without "manually" dealing with skins and seeds. I've jumped over from the oklahoma gardening forum because I remember others on that forum mentioning that they have something like this. Does anyone successfully use something like this and is it worth the price? Do they actually work or should I just stick with peeling tomatoes by myself? Do you have a brand that you recommend? Thanks so much for your help!

Here is a link to several previous discussions of this question and yes, they are a commonly used tool by many here.

You'll find that Victorio is the most commonly recommended and used model. This reading gives you a good place to start your research.

OR, leave the skins on and the seeds in, and can just tomatoes. then run the tomatoes through a blender each time you open a jar, before you start your recipe to make sauce.

That's the best lazy solution I have found for sauce, and it's delicious. I guess it won't work for salsa, where you want chunks.
