Question about Marinated Pepper Canning Recipe

Hi All,

I know that a lot of you don't like the marinated pepper recipe but I made a batch with sweet red peppers and it's amazing. I found the recipe from UC Davis publication about peppers, I have linked to it below.

My question is can I do this with Green Chili's? The recipe doesn't specify what chili's to use but I have only seen people do it with red peppers. I have already frozen 15 pounds of green chili's but I still have more and would like to can some as well as I'm running out of room in my freezer...

Thanks
Jessica

As long as you keep the total amounts of each ingredient the same as called for in the recipe, it doesn't matter which peppers you use.

IIRC, I used green peppers the first time I canned these. It works just fine.
