| Hi All,
I know that a lot of you don't like the marinated pepper recipe but I made a batch with sweet red peppers and it's amazing. I found the recipe from UC Davis publication about peppers, I have linked to it below. My question is can I do this with Green Chili's? The recipe doesn't specify what chili's to use but I have only seen people do it with red peppers. I have already frozen 15 pounds of green chili's but I still have more and would like to can some as well as I'm running out of room in my freezer... Thanks

| As long as you keep the total amounts of each ingredient the same as called for in the recipe, it doesn't matter which peppers you use. Dave |

| IIRC, I used green peppers the first time I canned these. It works just fine. Carol |
