| I have just purchased a small hawaian heather plant and was looking for information on caring for it..Right now I have this plant in my greenhouse until the weather gets a bit warmer...Are there any specific requirments that this plant needs in order to thrive....how cold hardy are these...I have a greenhouse so that wont be a problem but would rather leave them outside once I plant it in the ground...Thanks for the info...I live in zone 7
Thanks Steve |

| Hawaiian heather, sometimes called Mexican heather, is not a heather at all - it is Cuphea hyssopifolia, a semi-tropical plant typically sold as an annual in most parts of the country. Ergo, not the slightest bit hardy in zone 7. |
