I've always been partial to these plants and I'm glad they finally have their own forum!

There's also a gallery area, you'll see links to it at the top and bottom of the message list.

Have fun!

Spike

RE: Welcome!!

Thanks Spike, I have acquired 3 different varieties of Heather. I have 2 Mediterranean Heather, (1) one golden Heather and (1) one dark green Heather. The names have faded on my copper tags, but I have them recorded somewhere. Sooner or later I will locate the names. I don't know much about the care. I haven't had to do anything but water them and they are green all year round. Thanks again Spike.

RE: Welcome!!

Could I get the Crowberry (Empetraceae) added to Heaths & Heathers? This should be there home.
There are 3 genera but only 5 species:
Empetrum nigrum -Crowberry
Empetrum eamesii -Purple Crowberry
Ceratiola ericoides -Sand HEATH
Corema album -Portuguese Crowberry
Corema conradii -Broom Crowberry;
