| Hello,
I saw a Heather plant the other day at the local supermarket. I fell in love with it and brought it home. It has long, pink flowers and the tips have tiny petals. It came from a Monterrey, CA florist. I'm told it needs a lot of water and likes soil on the acidic side. Can anyone advise how I can keep my new Heather alive? Can I repot it, and with what kind of potting mix? Thanks, Tammy |

| It is Erica persoluta and will not survive any frost outdoors. If you are frost free it may be fine. Plant outside in full sun. It is native to South Africa. I'm sorry but chances of keeping it alive as a houseplant are very slim. |
