| i have some i planted last year and some i planted this year. the ones planted last year are growing FAST and I'm afraid they'll push out the younger plants which haven't had a chance to establish themselves.
can i give the older heather a mid summer trim? I'm fairly certain that the plants in question are erica vulgaris. thanks,

| The best time to shear heather/heath is right after they bloom and before they put out their new growth. If you shear now, they may not bloom but they will likely live. |
