 o
transplanting question

I have a mediteranean heather that I purchased last year. It came back except for one large branch that died off over the winter (i imagine from wind and frost damage) Unfortunately the piece that died faces front. So it looks like a big bare spot there.

Can I dig the plant up and turn it around or will that just kill the whole thing?

Cathy

RE: transplanting question

Sounds like it may have had stem-splitting.

You could turn it if you like. But the other option, if you want to have a full round plant again, is to prune it harshly next spring.
