Yes, they are fairly easy. Even easier is to bend some branches down, cover part of the stem with soil and they will root easily. Cuttings will take a little longer but I have had great luck with them.

And just how did you have "great luck" with rooting cuttings? Is this the time of year to do it? Anne12

Take semi-ripe cuttings (too late now) and put them in a rooting medium overwinter until they grow a substantial root system. Pot them up, or if your growing season is long, put them in a nursery bed for a season. When cutting, try to cut from the heel of the plant to get some of the bark. Otherwise, cut the stems and pinch their tips to promote branching. Cuttings should be around 1 1/2" long.
