Did I do a stupid? Heath question.

| I'm a total novice at heaths... planted one in the spring in what looked like an ideal spot for it, then discovered I had already planted something else there. By now it was getting woefully crowded.
But I just built a new rock garden! On impulse, I just shoveled up the Heath and popped it into the rock garden. Did I do a stupid? Will it have time now to root there? (I carried a HUGE root ball with it, so it may not even know it was moved.)

| Nah, if you didn't disturb the root ball, it should be fine. Just keep it from drying out while it re-establishes. |

| Actually, I had come to that conclusion -- in the nine days since the transplant, it is flourishing, and has put on so much new growth that now I'm worried about winterkill on the tender new stuff! |

| Hmmm... I wonder if those aren't the flower buds you are seeing that you are thinking is new growth? If this is a winter bloomer, that is probably the case. (Sounds familiar because I made that same mistake in the past!) |
