WANTED: Heirloom flowers or seeds

HI. I am looking to get new flowers for my garden that I started about 2 years ago.

I don't have much to trade since I'm still new. I do have purple columbine seeds ready to go, and will have hollyhock seeds ready in a couple of weeks. (bright pink doubles and a pale pink / yellow combo color).

Or if you have extras and your thinning out your garden, I will send postage.

Thanks.
Maureen

RE: WANTED: Heirloom flowers or seeds

I have heirloom Amaryllis seeds if you would like some. Just send me your name & address & I will be happy to share some with you.

These seed come from bulbs planted at my house over 70 years ago by a lady who was a school teacher and loved gardening. Over the years the house & the gardens fell into disrepair. When I bought the old house and began to reclaim the yard I saw these pitiful things trying to survive. I dug up the bulbs, "babied" them in pots for months and was rewarded the next season with beautiful 6 inch blooms. I now have some in pots and lots in my gardens! It takes @ 3 years to grow from seed to blooming bulb but I think that it is worth the trouble. On each stalk I usually get 3 to 5 beautiful Salmon colored blooms and there are at least one to two stalks on each bulb. I have been blessed with many of them now and have lots of seeds to share if you are interested. LMK
