My grandmother grew 'permelon'. I am not sure of the spelling but it was like a or maybe a kind of squash. Has anyone heard of this? Does anyone have seeds??

RE: WANTED: Permelon ??? sp?

I just became a member, I have searched for years for a hard-shelled melon/squash called a permelon or permillion. That is an old post and no luck with that email. please advise where I might find seeds, Will pay whatever price for shipment of seeds. These make wonderful pies.
