Are there heirloom/open-pollinated green beans? If so, could you please recommend a good basic heirloom green/snap/bush bean for eating and freezing. Thanks in advance.

RE: Heirloom Green Bean Question

See the thread "A Slippery Question" which is currently just below this one. http://www.sandhillpreservation.com/ has a good selection. Blue Marbutt is a good snap pole bean. Others can recommend bush varieties.
