does anyone know of a source for heirloom wheats

    You might check with the Living History Museums, outside Des Moines. They have an on-going project in that regard.

    Longhunter, if you know someone who is a member of the Seed Savers Exchange, talk to them; there are over 60 varieties of wheat available from other members in 2007. If you are unable to find an SSE member to help & are still searching, contact me from my member page.

    check www.ars-grin.gov
    Also check ethnic and health food stores . They sell Peru yellow wheat in some Hispanic stores .
