Heirlom Vegetable Plants

I recently moved back to Wake County after a ten year absence. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could find heirloom vegetable plants? I don't have the time or patience for seeds right now. I am also looking for suggestions for off the beaten path garden centers... I have an acre to work on and a limited budget.

I'd highly recommend Craig (he's a regular poster on the tomato forum as 'nctomatoman') as a source for tomato, hot or sweet pepper, eggplant, or tomatillo transplants. It looks like he's usually at the Raleigh Farmers Market from mid-April to mid-May, but see his page for more details.

Here's the page for the farmers market, so you can also read about the other events and vendors.

Thanks, Suze9. I was going to try the farmers market, but knew it was still a little early. It looks like Craig is the guy I need to see.
