Heirloom tomatos in north facing patio

Hi Everyone!

I am trying to find an optimal heirloom tomato plant for my apartment patio that faces the north. It gets strong sun but not direct sunlight. I bought some seeds a while back (Patio F1) but I don't think they are heirloom. The one type I found that might work is the Sunset Red Horizon. But are there others? Also looking at what else I can grow out there along with tomatoes. Any suggestions? Thank you.

With reduced light smaller fruited varieties will give you more production than large ones so look for cherry or salad size (6 oz or less). Plant size can be controlled through pruning in order to fit the plant to the pot size.

Sunset's Red Horizon would not be a good choice. It is a large plant with large fruits.

Off the top of my head...

Something like Stupice, Bloody Butcher or Kimberly for reds, Juane Flamee for a yellow/orange, Green Zebra...pruned and stake will get 5-7 ft high but not wide.

Gruskova is a small plant with very good tasting pink fruit.
