Rabbits and squirrels, oh my!

I seriously recomend going to your local dog shelter and picking out a new friend. Until recently I had a hound mix. These sniffers love chasing and barking at squirrel and rabbits. Also, vermon do not seem to like dog urine.
My dear friend Argus was in an accident and now squirrel and rabbit are eating everything and scaring off cardinal and bluebird. I'm off to look for a new friend and save a life instead of killing little anoying creatures. |

| I completely agree! We put our raised bed gardens in our fenced dog yard and there's been nary a nibble :) |

| My vegetable garden is also in a screened area but the dogs do there business somewhere else. Do you think I should open the gates for them and allow access? Or, would it suffice if they did their business around the perimeter? Rita ------------------- Rita Abend |
