How deep can I transplant peppers?

| I know with tomatoes that I can transplant them into the garden, and plant them deep and pile soil as far as I want up the plant with no harm....How about peppers? Can I do that with them also, or do I have to maintain the soil level that they have been growing at? Thanks. |
