...looks like one gorgeous Italian heirloom eggplant-anyone growing it? i just read through a long eggplant thread on this forum but didn't see any mention of it. Sometimes also called Romanesco but where's the fun in that ; )

Rosa Bianca is popular among heirloom growers, Medium sized eggshaped, lavender with white. I have grown it, Pretty but otherwise ordinary for me. May be what you are referring to.

i was wondering if it might be the same as Rosa Bianca farmerdilla.

i came across the Bianca Sfumata di Rosa while browsing an italian seed catalog. i have since noticed that Bakers Creek offers Rotunda Bianca Sfumata di Rosa seed, with a glam shot on page 20 that seems to look a lot like Rosa Bianca. Interesting.
