Black Zebra Tomato?

Hi, I had ordered some varities of Heirloom Organic tomatoes from tomatofest.com, they sent me extra seeds to try out, one of them was black zebra. Has anyone tried it? how prolific is it in Southern California? I heard that its a late season fruit and has smoky flavour.

cant wait to plant it, currently its seeded.

    Never heard of this one, but I have grown the green zebra. And I LOVE the taste. I'm interested to see how the black will turn out.

    out of three seeds, one germinated, thats a good start!

    I love Green Zebra and started Black Zebras this year. The tomatoes are still green though, but I'm very exited.
