| Plant Science Day, Wednesday, August 4, 2010
For those who have an interest this year is their 100th Anniversary of the Connecticut Agriculture Experiment Station (CAES). They host this Plant Science Day every year at Lockwoods Farms in Hamden. Admission is FREE and is great for children and adults alike. I think this 1st link has directions for those interested. I understand there is a plot specifically for heirlooms. http://www.ct.gov/caes/lib/caes/documents/plant_science_day/2010/psd_m ailer_2010.pdf http://www.ct.gov/caes/lib/caes/documents/plant_science_day/2010/psd_p rogram_2010.pdf http://www.ct.gov/caes/cwp/view.asp?Q=461198&A=2824 Enjoy ps - Two of the scientists are on Garden Talk 1080AM right now.
