I would like to grow some heirloom tomatoes from seed. And, any other heirloom vegetables. Would these do good in a greenhouse?

RE: Seed Source

Try Baker Creek seeds at rareseeds.com. Top of my list for an amazing selection of seeds.
Pinetree seeds is also a great one who has a lot of regular everyday seeds, and an equal amount of heirloom seeds, at very low prices.
J.L. Hudson Seedsman seems to have one of everything in the floral world and a nice selection of veggies also.

I do not have a heated greenhouse, so I start my seeds indoors and bring them out to the greenhouse later. The tomato forum has a great section on seed starting, I would start there. Becky

Re: greenhouse growing. Heirlooms are no different than hybrids in that respect. Some do real well in greenhouses, and some aren't happy at all.

Were it me, I'd go over to the tomato forum and ask for reccomendations for heirlooms that do well in greenhouses.
