white corns

I'm growing Hickory King corn this year. I was looking at a picture and description of "tuscaloosa white" today, and it is remarkably similar to my HK ears. Does anybody know if HK was perhaps bred from TW?

RE: white corns

Most likely, the other way round. Hickory King has been in continuous production since 1870. First time I have heard of Tuscaloosa White and it still does not show up in a Google search.
