I am overwhelmed with envy. What is your husband's secret for growing great heirloom tomatoes? How did he prepare the soil, ie what kind of soil, amendments, fertilizer, etc. Where does he order his seeds from?

I'm going to try growing heirlooms....I hate paying $6.99/lb. for heirlooms at the grocery store.

Thank you

What a great website you and your husband have. And the tomatoes are unbelievable. And the tomato sauce looks scrumptious. I really enjoyed reading the info you have listed and looking at the garden pics and tomatoes.

Was looking at your husband's tomatoes and am 'green with envy'. What is the red stuff under his plants, and where can you get it. Anything to stop pulling weeds......lol
