| Hello
Has anyone tried this variety? I grew them on a fence this year and they did OK. I harvested the first melon and it was not too great. It was mildly sweet and mildly musky. The melons had quite a bit of liquid in the center which was mildly rotten flavored and the flesh tasted better than the excess liquid in the center. Anyone had this experience with this variety? I am a disappointed with the flavor of the melons. I will not try this one again. Please let me know if you have tried this one and how it did. |

| I have grown green nutmeg, and I like it. Single serving size nice and sweet, hits the spot. I think yours may have gone past prime and most likely the extreme heat has soured the melons. Give it another try or if you can ripen some later ones now that its cooling they might be better.Rodger |
