Can anyone tell me the name of a newer book out on Heirloom Squash? I can't even tell you who may have wrote it. I do believe it was a woman.
Thanks so much |

Barb, I haven't read it either. Are you referring to Amy Goldman's book, "The Compleat Squash?" Published by Artisan. C. 2004, $40.00 Mary

Don't buy Amy Goldman's book. You'll want to grow every squash in it!

It is fantastically written and photogaphed. Definite must have. Cheers, Alvin Gill-Tapia New Mexico Gardner

It has good info on whether a squash is better for eating or for display, too. It saved me a lot of time I would have spent growing varieties that had been described as tasty in catalogs. I had the same experience with it as Raymondo, though - I wanted to grow them all and bought WAY too many squash seeds last year.:)
