Privacy hedge

I need to put a privacy hedge around my property. I am looking for some thing that is fast growing, give a lots of privacy and may be low maintenance.

Any help is appreciated.

    The Heirloom Forum is probably not the best place to get an answer since it is more focused on fruits and vegetables. But I see that you already have some responses on the Shrub Forum and the Florida Forum, and I notice that other people have asked the same question on the Florida Forum. Search

    Also try "Edible Landscaping." I started a thread there about a month ago asking a similar question and got some excellent suggestions.
