| Hey, I am a new Gardner. I have a small house in Greenville SC, and I absolutely Love Heirloom tomatoes. I buy them from our local Saturday Market, but would love to grow some of my own. I would also like to grow some herbs such as mint and basil. I don't have much room so I would like to focus on heirloom tomatoes and the herbs for now and possibly expand. I have never planted a garden and would love a few tips to get me started, mainly timing.
Thanks to all

Mitchud, I am always interested in helping a new gardener who aspires to grow heirloom tomatoes, etc. I was born and grew up in Spartanburg, went away to school, and in 1969 returned to Greenville to work as Director of Education at the John Knox Presbyterian Church on Shannon Drive. I am retired with heart issues and continue to live in Louisville, Kentucky. Gardening gives me something to do and lifts my spirits! Gary |
