open-pollinated source

I'd hate to reinvent the wheel so to speak, but I have not seen a place on the web to browse for seeds I'd like without reading pages and pages of ads.

So what I did was organize my own idea. "Latitude 45" gets it's name by location and while seeds may be garnered from all points, it would be nice to have seeds from plants used to a shorter season like that at the 45th parallel (Northern Michigan). Places like Alaska to Vermont.

I decided to have one place to store and ship seed from and similar to a book trade in, you trade in 2 to get 1. That's the premise anyway.

I divided the vegetables up and have more room for more categories. The specific names of seeds available are not open to public posting to control the exact amount available via ONE source-ME :)

Let me know...I'll bookmark this posting and check back.

I threw this together in an hour or so, so don't be to mean but let me hear what you think of such a page and resource for organic, open-pollinated seeds.

Here is a link that might be useful: Latitude 45
