Hellebores in pot

Hello,
I have a small hellebores in a 2 gallon pot since last summer. It was a little seedling last summer when I got it. Is it bad to let the plant sit in the pot until this fall before planting it? I need to move some other plants before planting this guy and I dont want to move them until fall.
Any help is much appreciated!
Thanks

| It should be fine in its two gallon pot until Fall - I transplant seedlings into 4x5" deep pots. The root ball is manageable at 18 months in that size and while becomming tangled at the bottom, the roots can be teased out for planting without harming the plant or its growth. |
