Variegated Hybridus Seedlings

Posted by NZJeff New Zealand (My Page) on

I was given seeds from what I understood to have been collected from variegated hybridus plants. The seeds have germinated and none are showing any indication of variegation (seedlings are at the first true leaf stage). Has anyone had experience in raising seedlings from variegated hybridus and if so do the resulting seedlings exhibit variegation?

More than likely the Hellebore will have to be propagated vegatatively for the variegation to be passed along.
