Why are my helebores blooming now?

Is this a sign of stress? It has been VERY dry this year in BC but I do water my garden almost everyday. I have 5 helebores and two of them are blooming right now. They are both orientalis. Does this mean they won't bloom in the winter? Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Erin

They might have felt the dry summer like a mild winter.
We had an extremely dry year, too, and now many plants are reacting to the stress with a second bloom.
I suppose that your Helleborus hybrids will stop flowering during frost periods and continue afterwards again.
