storm-surged by Isabel

My hellebores are looking not too good! Burned-looking older foliage. They were all completely innundated by the storm surge and were covered in this sea water for about fourteen hours. Some do have new foliage that looks healthy, so what would be a good thing to do? Should I cut away all of the burned-looking leaves? (These hellebores are in rather large pots.) Can I expect bloom this winter, do you think?

Thanks!

You probably by now have cut off the darkened leaves. I would have. This week I went around and cut off all leaves that looked like they had summer damage to them as new leaves are starting to come in.
I'll bet that yours will still bloom on time this year.
Mary
