I just got my first hellebore in the mail. It looks already like it has teeny flowers on it rght above the root area. They are a pink color and not very big. I am not sure if they are a flower or some part of the actually root. My question is if I should plant that part under the soil too? If they are flowers(and they don't look like the flower of the hellebore I remember seeing) I would hate to kill them by planting incorrectly.
