WANTED: New to this exchange thing -- would it be tacky?...

I've just discovered a list of plants that are said to be insect-repellents. Most of them are herbs.

Last summer, I was overwhelmed with insect pests, primarily squashbugs/stinkbugs and cucumber beetles, which were very destructive to my tomatoes and melons. Though we've had a bad drought and the insect pests haven't been so bad so far, I want to do everything I can next year to keep them away. Specific insect-repellent plants sounds like a great way to go.

My list of seeds and plants to order next year gets longer and longer, and more and more expensive, so I thought I'd ask here if it would be all right to ask for what I'd like (five kinds of seeds), even if I don't have many herbs myself to trade yet? I do have some flower/vegetable seeds that I could trade.
