It's looking better. Be careful not to over water...everything looks very wet(I realize you just transplanted and had to water things in). That goopy stuff is your seeds rotting. I would gently scrape those off and discard. The parsley needs to be separated into individual pots(I use styrofoam coffee cups). All the things you are growing can become large, but the people selling those kits don't tell you that...they put photos of small plants crammed together on the package(do a google image search on your plants to see how large they get outside). Keep the light as close to the pots as you can(a couple of inches)and set a small fan nearby to improve circulation.

The 'goopy' stuff is normal. Basil (and other) seeds form a gel when they get wet. It's not harmful.

Yes, all basil seeds get the gray jell. Harmless.

I stand corrected. I don't recall the goopy stuff on my basil seeds, but I also don't plant many at a time and I cover them. But I have had seeds rot in wet soil :D

Basil need light to germinate.

Every one of my basil seed packets says to cover seeds with 1/8" to 1/4" fine soil. Stupid seed packagers! I guess I've just been lucky all these years :D
