Can you show a picture of the single Feverfew you have found? All my single FF has a yellow centre. However, if you grew FF last year it is very likely you will have seedlings coming up this year. Many of these will be single flowers. Also if you grow both they will cross and seedlings are likely to revert to single.

Thank you so much, floral_uk! I'm not savvy enough to post the picture, it was in a catalog. I am glad to hear that I will probable get single seedlings from last year's doubles. I only want the singles so I guess I will have some selective weeding to do but no need to buy more seeds. Thanks again!

PS- the photo of the greeny yellow centers was in Select Seeds 2015 catalog, if you are interested. Perhaps they were just not yet fully bloomed?

I had a little look at that calalogue. The first picture looks fairly accurate in colour to me but I do think that the blooms in the picture are past their best and therefore a little dull in colour. The colour of the next one 'Aureum' is more like the colour of freshly opened flowers.

I agree with Flora. The center disks get larger and rounder as the plant works on making seeds so seeing those you know the flowers are older. Feverfew is a beauty to add to any garden. Largely pest and worry free. It is a prolific self-seeder so if that is a problem, dead-head as the flowers loose their petals. But since feverfew is so short-lived, you'll want to save some seeds or let Nature take its course if you want feverfew to continue in your gardens.
