Burpee's Cha Cha Chive plant

Has anyone bought this plant and can give me some info on its flavor, longevity, any problems, etc? I really like the looks of it, but I'm somewhat reluctant to spend that much money without a good recommendation. Thanks, Barb

I don't know this plant but I find upon Googling that it is Allium tuberosum (Garlic Chives),rather than Allium schoenoprasum (True chives), so I imagine it would taste accordingly.

Then if it is Garlic Chives they will have no problem re-producing both by division and by dropping seeds. They even have sprouted in my lawn with no problems.
