| Hi all, could you please advice on the easiest way to either freeze or dry basil, I have quite a lot of it and would like to keep some for the winter month. Thanks for all your tips. Catja |

| That is one of the most asked questions here. I would suggest using the search utility (now located in the upper right of this page) to look for that info - there is volumes of it! Often I use the advanced search tools at google instead of GW's search utilities such as the search link I included below. FataMorgana |

| As for freezing basil you can just put it in a zip-lock bag and squeeze the the air out if you will be using it in a short time. For long term it seems most believe that the best way is chopped and stored and frozen in olive oil. Dried is okay but not as great a flavor. |
