Hello. I'm a 29 year old guy that's currently a full time student, and recently decided I wanted to remove fluoride from my diet completely. I found a tasty tooth paste recipe (coconut oil base) and have been thinking about growing mint to add to it.

I went to a local fruit market here in Ballard and was told that mint is probably growing "wild" around the area, and that I could probably find some to take a trimming. He said to dip the trimming in root toner and put it in a pot, and that it should take off.

I'm hoping there is someone local that has a peppermint plant I can have/buy a trimming from.

Within 10 miles preferably. Thanks for all replies of advice and or people/locations I can find a mint trimming, ideally a peppermint.
